Abstract

This article is part of a larger project that tacles the process of approach to Peronism that a part of the Students Movement undergoned during the decade of 1960 in Argentina, taking specially attention to the experience of Frente Estudiantil Nacional (FEN).

The FEN was an university organization “in transit to Peronism” that approached to historic sectors of Peronism and began to work in working-class neighbourhoods.

We propose to privilege the analysis of do-cuments,  but  also  included some testimonials that we are supportive. From there we explore some “protesters components”,  linked to the climate of ideas at the time, and see how  this  collective actor is positioned   within the categories of “youth” and “students” which appear in the speech, considering FEN constantly  claimed  that  its  character   and  its tendency university student youth militancy.
