Abstract

This paper summarizes what was presented as a coference in the I Simposium of Contrastive Linguistics and Text Genres. It is pointed out that Contrastive Linguistics appears in 1945, gets stronger in the 50s, falls into crises in the 80s, but recovers its strength and it is used in order to strengthen the process of foreign languages teaching and learning.

Isabel Gretel María Eres Fernández, Universidade de São Paulo

Isabel Gretel María Eres Fernández concluiu o Doutorado em Educação pela Faculdade de Educação da Universidade de São Paulo em 1998. Realizou estudos pós-doutorais em 2009 na Universidad de Murcia (Espanha). Atualmente é Professora Doutora efetiva da Faculdade de Educação da USP, onde ingressou em 1988, sendo que atua no curso de Licenciatura Espanhol e também na Pós-Graduação, na área de formação de professores de Espanhol bem como de Português como Língua Estrangeira.
