The study analyses the right to good health care to the Brazilian population, which was considered insufficient considering the standards proposed by law, in spite of all the guarantees provided for its accomplishment. The failure to obtain the right to satisfactory and reasonable health care violates the major principle granted by The Federative Republic of Brazil: the dignity of the human person. Therefore, it becomes necessary for the State to carry out all prescriptions referring to this aspect, especially those of constitutional character, and for the civil society to constantly and repeatedly demand this service, until the situation is satisfactory and in agreement with the ideals of a Social State, by means of different policies and actions of the Unique Health Service, which have already been gradually implemented.
