It has been decided to analyse the" Pregnant Lady's Card" due to fundamental function in the communication between the basic health service and services of child-birth attendance. This analysis had the purpose to outline this card as an instrument in Londrina city; bringing together opinions of obstetricians linked to pre-natal and child-birth attendance at community Health Services. Various issues about the card items were raised; asking for suggestions, opinions and pointing out faults with the aim of understanding the card itself on its acceptance and improvement- The urgent need to increase the conscious awareness about the importance of this card between obstetricians and pregnant women was identified, in order to increase the effectiveness of this instrument.
