Abstract

The Coronatae scyphistomae Stephanoscyphistoma corniformis (Komai, 1936) are recorded for the first time along the Brazilian coast and their supportive periderm cones are re-described, ft is also the second record of a scyphistoma in Brazil and of a Coronatae scyphistoma in the western South Atlantic.
