Laser therapy in the treatment of pressure sores - A case report

Pressure sores have become nowadays, one of the most important problems in the rehabilitation of neurological patients. Its relatively high incidence in the "Hospital Universitario Regional do Norte do Paraná" led us to begin a study using Low-Energy Laser Therapy with the purpose of solving bad sore cases. This study shows the efficiency, advantages and disadvantages of the laser use, though the analysis of one treated case.
