Abstract

This paper presents the second results of a research about trie structure and functioning of the phytoptanktonic community of Tibagi River, a taxonomic research about the genus Closterium (Zygnemaphyseae). Fifty nine samples were collected with a net of 30um mesh opening. In twenty three of these samples the Ctosterium was found. Twenty one taxa were identified, fourteen of which been first records for the State of Parana.
