Fator anti-núcleo e célula L E: análise de 2.299 pesquisas no hospital universitário regional do norte do Paraná

The authors analysed the antinuclear factor and LE cell in 2.299 blood samples from patients of Hospital Universitario Regional do Norte do Parana", Londrina, from March 1981 of February 1936. They used indirect immunofluorescence with leukocytic cream and direct methodology to LE cell. They reported a higher positivity of systemic lupus erythematosus (SLE) that was found in 41 patents (83,6%) and other pathologies like SLE associated to rheumatoid arthritis, Henoch-Schonlein, Cerebral Vascular Accident, Sydenham Corea, lupoid hepatitis and rheumatoid arthritis soro-positive, showing in each one of them one positive case (2,04%). The correlation between high titles of antinucleo factor was for the SLE. Cases, where as, in patients with other pathologies it showed lower titles than in SLE.
