The present paper has the goal of showing the different areas of the Duplex Ultra-Sound application In Vascular Surgery. The areas were Duplex can be used Include the cervical, intra abdominal and peripheral circulation. Being a non-invasive method of imaging, the Duplex Ultra-Sound can be used for diagnosis and follow-up in arterial or venous diseases as a very useful tool for helping the management of vascular problems. Examples of this usefulness are demonstrated the areas of arterial stenosis, particularly the cervical circulation as well as the intra abdominal and peripheral areas. Examples of applications of the Duplex Ultrasound Techniques are also presented in the venous circulation, where this technique can be used in the management of DVT or varicose veins.
