Taking into consideration the students emotional difficulties at the beginning of their hospital experience, the authors developed the course “Psychology Applied to Nursing". The purpose of this course was the psychology support to students from the period of the graduation in Nursing and Obstetrics at State University of Londrina. The results were satisfactory and they showed a positive of the integration between nurse formation (techniques) and their psycho-social situation.
