The vitamin thiamine (B1) evaluated in loy-bean (Glycine max) cultivars, 1982/84 harvests, utilizing the microbiological method. The values found demonstrate that this vitamin did not present significative variations between genetic varieties hut loss of biological activity of the vitamin wax observed during grain storage.
