Agricultura brasileira: considerações sobre a contribuição da produtividade no período 1960/80

Analysis of the contributions of productivity and increase of farm area in the growth of Brazilian agricultural production from 1960 to 1980, using "shift-share" analytical instrumental. The results showed that during these years the agricultural growth took place basically in terms of increase of farm area which characterizes, in aggregation, as a traditional agriculture sector.
