Otite canina: etiologia, sensibilidade antibiótica e suscetibilidade animal

The aetiology, antibiotic and animal suscetibility of canine otitis externa were evaluated in 95 materials from animals with clinical history of otitis externa. The most cases were in males (65,3%) and in young animals (5 years old). Pastor Alemão were the most affected (53%) between the animals with a definite race. Staphylococcus sp, Streptococcus sp, Pseudomonas sp and Proteus sp were the more prevalents agents. Gentamicina represented the drug of choice in the differents agents isolated.
