The percentages of positive sera were 75,98% with titles ranging from 16 to 65536. The prevalence in relation to age was: up to 1 year, 67,02%; 1 to 7 years, 80,45%; over 7 years, 35,18%. These results showed that the infection has been disseminated in our environment, but in an underestimated way when evaluated only by clinic surveys.
