Ethos do Pioneiro

Abstract

A current research on the local and regional culture is given in ETHOS DO PIONEIRO (Northern Pa-rand Frontier's Ethos). The definition of the pioneer from the local society point of view is been found. A systematization of person to person social interaction between the so-called "pioneers" to identify a process of social differentiation, in which the "pioneer" ethos was enrolled — by age, sex, and class - is made possible. The advertising media for the colonization company that undertook the settlement of the region was synthesized, analyzed, and compared. Some sources of information on the Northern Parana region are pointed out.
