Abstract

Dealing with the double mechanism of communication, the author discusses the onomasiological and semasiological mechanism, the advantages of the speaker over the hearer in the process of communication, beginning eith a brief discussion on message, code, channel and context. Some practical considerations, important not only to the speaker but also to the heaer, are given at the end.
