This paper’s objective is to verify the use of the Multidoor Court, as well as its possible adoption in Brazilian Small Claims Courts – JECs. Firstly, this study explores this important institution’s origins, from the perspective of Frank Sander, a Harvard University professor. Secondly, this paper discusses its possible use in Brazil’s JECs. Unfortunately, some court practices impair its purpose. Finally, this study investigates how legal professionals handle situations that do not need to immediately involve the judicial process. Finally, in order to verify the acceptance of the proposal in its surrounding reality, this paper examines a specific case that involved the right of neighborliness and the defense of possessions.Downloads
