ABSTRACT: UNESCO Global Geoparks play a prominent role in local and regional development, especially through geotourism, placing it as a type of sustainable tourism that contributes to poverty reduction, generating employment and income opportunities for local communities. In this way, geotourism stands out as a facilitator of sustainable development, since it constitutes one of the fundamental pillars of geoparks, configuring itself as an activity that promotes the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) of the 2030 Agenda. Given this context, the purpose of this study was to analyze the interfaces that geoparks have with SDGs 8 and 11. Using the PRISMA methodology guidelines, the systematic review revealed studies that explored close relationships between the interfaces of geoparks and SDGs 8 and 11. In this scenario, the most recurrent interfaces were related to the increase in labor with the diversification and qualification of workers, in the context of SDG 8, and the protection and safeguarding of natural and cultural heritage in relation to SDG 11. This study has limitations arising from the methodology adopted, which was restricted to the last five years in the Scopus database and the inclusion of complete articles in English.
