O plano diretor e as situações ambiental e urbana em Bauru-SP

A cidade de Bauru está localizada na porção centro-oeste do Estado de São Paulo. Sua expansão urbana ocorreu desordenadamente e as ocupações irregulares do solo urbano ocorreram nas áreas mais baixas onde se encontram os Setores Especiais de Conservação de Fundo de Vale - SEC's apesar de existir um Plano Diretor que pudesse orientar a urbanização e evitar o adensamento populacional irregular em áreas de preservação ambiental.
