Abstract

This article aims to propose a discussion about the visibility system produced by the specific form of popular devotion in the cult of Señor de los Milagros. Specially, it aims to highlight the polysemy of symbols activated throughout devotional practices and reflect on the meaning given to the images, to religious imaginary and to conflict related to the imaginable, understood as what was consented to be represented.
