This article discusses the way individuals build their body and appearance using the example proposed by celebrities. For this purpose, it considers the body as image presenting arguments that bring together the body distinctive features and those of images, beginning from the catholic distinction between soul, body and flesh, which isolates the body entity. It discusses, also, the way celebrities constitute role models, referring media image circulation and analysing the relationship between the individual body and the celebrities’ model. It begins from the concepts of picture and image in relation to the word.Downloads
