What kind of pleasure is in the instant of a photography click? It would be a way of la petite mort? An erotic comes up to the eyes? A type of fetish that makes a move in the voyeur’s eyes? In this essay I propose to think about the click. I weave a metaphor that the moment of capture is also the moment of intimacy, an erotic and a pleasure which the body can register. I bring contemporary productions from two Brazilian photographers Alexia Santi and Natalia Guimarães who seeks, through photography, capturing the "little death" from the record of the orgasm. In this joint, I seek to associate the little experience of death, announced by Barthes (1984), with the sensuality that crosses the sacred, transgression and eroticism of Georges Bataille (1987). An essay about photography, death and erotism. Here, an openness where life and death coexist and overlap each other as the layers of time. A plateau, which can move and communicate something still unsaid.Downloads
