The ethics in the photo journalism of the digital age

Abstract

This article focuses the ethics in photojournalism. With the rise of digital technology and its capacity to enable to treat and manipulate images, a controversy came about over the ethics of professionals and information vehicles. The difference between treatment and manipulation of images is also covered in this study. A historical overview shows that photographic manipulation is not a newness or invention of digital technology. Ethics is within the professional, not in the tool.
