Resumen

Este trabajo contiene una traducción del artículo de Steven Shapin titulado Is There a Crisis of Truth?, publicado en la revista Los Angeles Review of Books, en diciembre de 2019. La traducción se realizó en contacto con el autor y el editor de la mencionada revista, Michele Pridmore-Brown. Por lo tanto, Shapin amablemente nos proporcionó un apéndice sobre el artículo, presentando una breve actualización sobre el tema, casi dos años después de su publicación. Buscando la mejor manera de presentar un artículo que aborda temas de mucha actualidad, traemos una breve biografía del autor, así como un esfuerzo reflexivo sobre cómo se ha transmitido y debatido la “Crisis de la Verdad” y el negacionismo.
