The purpose of this paper is to analyze the creative process employed by Pedro Nava in the construction of his work “Beira-Mar/Memórias 4”. The trans-creation of thought makes it possible to approach identities and differences in that it is intended to express. New senses and new structures are produced and they lead to the discovery of new realities widening the sense of the original idea and, at the same time, fulfilling it creatively. To create means more than invent or produce any new phenomenon. To create means to form a new knowledge integrating it into a global context. The ideas start to interact with thoughts and feelings. Multiple and even divergent aspects are interconnected and they become integrated in a new synthesis, widening the aesthetic information.
