Cell hypertrophy is the accepted mechanism for the recovery of the atrophied granulated ducts of the castrated male mice subject to testosterone (T) treatment. In this paper, it was possible to demonstrate a mitogenic effect of T on the atrophied granulated ducts of the submandibular gland of castrated mice, similar to other target organs.
