Abstract

The aim of this paper is to discuss the new paradigms of state intervention in the economy and the interaction between public and private in the Modern State. The work will be approached from a concrete case: control gasoline prices by Petróleo Brasileiro S/A (Petrobrás). Will be offered a critical limit, descriptive and normative, the complex public-private interaction, existing in mixed societies. With intertextuality and interdisciplinarity will be possible to understand the relationship with Petrobrás of state intervention in the economic domain and the existence of a new institutional paradigm able to achieve socioeconomic development planned in CF/88.
