Challenge for managersof units of information to implement the intrapreneurship and empowerment

Introduction: Management of Contemporary Organizationdemands appropriate managerial tools at your time. Those tools are available to the manager of units ofinformation and they are can be applied onmanagement of thistype of organizationsystem.
Objective: Introduced the concepts of intrapreneurship and empowerment as the principalelements of the climate as to as necessary to the development of the entrepreneur spirit.
Methodology: The data collection instrument was a questionnaire. It was applied in staffof university library in 2010 and 36% of questionnaire was answered in a total populationof 56 subjects.
Results: The results allowedto infer that, of a total of ten entrepreneur characteristic’s, threeof them (establishment of goals, calculated risks and persuasion and nets of contacts) were considered aboutweak points in the analyzed group. The verification that theresearched professionals have, in the level grupal, favorable positive degree to theentrepreneurship -with 70% of personal entrepreneurial positive characteristic’s suggeststhat the same ones can aid in the innovation of the unit of information if the managerscreatea favorable atmosphere to intrapreneurship with relationship to theorganizational climate, this was considered favorable to the implementation effective of theempowerment.
Conclusions: The final conclusions reveal that the unit of information can win with theapplication of the empowerment, in that way can promote the entrepreneur spirit, beingopen for cultural changes heading for an Enterprising Administration.
