Interoperability between indexing languages as resource of construction of clippings’ thematic representation instrument of coordinations of social comunication in university environments

Abstract

Introduction: The interoperability between different indexing languages is focused as a form of construction of thematic representation instrument for clippings indexing and retrieval. 
Objective: to establish a methodology of realization for interoperability between indexing languages as a viable proposed of construction of the consistent controlled language, and of faster form, to the journalistic information representation and retrieval, by theorical and methodological perspectives in Information Science and related areas. 
Methodology: The interoperability was conducted for natural language to controlled language in five phases: 1) mapping of the knowledge area; 2) term ́s search and creation of the subject list in natural language for the interoperability; 3) identification of the base controlled language; 4) identification of the method of realization of interoperability between indexing languages; 5) systematizing the process of interoperability between indexing languages to the syntactic-semantic compatibility between terms. 
Results: The interoperability between the languages resulted in rates of significant semantic compatibilities occurred between the terms of the two languages in Computer Science. 
Conclusion: It was shown the realization feasibility of the interoperability in the construction of the different indexing languages and the use appropriate of the methodology.
