O município de Jataizinho, está localizado no Nordeste do Norte do Paraná, nos limites ocidentais do chamado Norte Velho, na região geográfica que MAACK denominou de Planalto de São Jerônimo da Serra, que se estende entre os rios Tibagi e Itararé.
