Buscar-se-á, no presente texto, apresentar sucintamente as atividades desenvolvidas no Grupo de Estudos Dinâmica Regional e Agropecuária (GEDRA), sediado na FCT/UNESP, Campus de Presidente Prudente. O GEDRA foi cadastrado junto ao CNPq no ano de 1999, a partir da iniciativa de um conjunto de professores e alunos dos Cursos de Graduação e Pós-Graduação em Geografia dessa instituição, visando fomentar o debate relacionado às temáticas pertinentes ao desenvolvimento regional e à agropecuária.
