O mundo é tropical!? não, mas nós somos!

Discutir e debater uma realidade que é nossa sempre nos traz satisfação. E como é bom ouvir falar não apenas de nós, como pessoas, mas também de nosso lugar, nosso ambiente de vivência. Este foi um dos reflexos que a Aula Inaugural proferida pelo professor José Bueno Conti, sobre o tema "A contribuição da Geografia Brasileira no entendimento do mundo tropical", produziu em nós na "inauguração" do ano letivo de 2002 do Curso de Geografia da Universidade Estadual de Londrina (UEL), no curioso 27 de junho (resultado da greve das universidades estaduais do Paraná, que, devido ao descaso do governo estadual, "arrastou-se" por longos 169 dias, desde setembro de 2001), deste inusitado ano de 2002!
