A relação entre o excursionismo rural e a educação formal e informal

Este artigo apresenta considerações a respeito da relação, localizada claramente em uma investigação com base empírica no Norte Velho do Paraná, entre o excursionismo rural e a educação formal e informal. Foram consideradas como atividades de excursionismo rural as visitas realizadas mediante deslocamentos de menor amplitude do que no turismo rural, e que não implicaram em pernoite. Estas visitas, muito freqüentemente, estão relacionadas às atividades denominadas de educação ambiental e de excursionismo técnico-científico. Aqui são relatadas cinco experiências de excursionismo rural ligadas à educação ambiental e três experiências de excursionismo rural ligadas ao aprendizado técnico-científico.
