Considerações sobre a geração de efluentes líquidos em centros urbanos

O trabalho apresenta um diagnóstico qualitativo da problemática dos efluentes pluviais, domésticos e industriais em centros urbanos. Ressalta a existência do efluente pluvial que, via de regra, não recebe o tratamento e enfoque merecidos, apontando razões para sua inclusão no rol dos efluentes com necessidade de depuração. Discorre sobre as gêneses e as potencialidades poluidoras dos efluentes líquidos urbanos. Explana sobre as atuais providencias quanto ao tratamento de efluentes e propõe medidas técnico-administrativas com o propósito de um melhor gerenciamento, visando reduzir o impacto ambiental nos corpos aquáticos receptores.
