The current stage of climate change calls for solutions involving climate mitigation and
adaptation. Urban mobility and market agents involved in the process of urban readjustments are taking
a stance of commodification of the agenda in the urban scenario. Thus, this study aims to understand
how private agents involved in urban mobility, specifically in micromobility and its tools available for
urban travel, are involved in carbon credit offsetting and speculation in an urban entrepreneurship
market. The methodology of this study is based on a literature review on the topic, associated with the
search for primary and secondary data on websites of magazines, newspapers, and business reports
aimed at investors.
