ABSTRACT: In parallel with the phenomenon of economic globalization, countries have presented several proposals for regional economic integration. Brazil, in particular, participated in the establishment of the Common Market of the South (MERCOSUR) in the 1990s. These are new strategies for entering international trade to achieve better competition in an increasingly globalized and fiercely competitive world. For the success of this strategy, transport infrastructure is needed to connect South American countries for better regional and infrastructural integration. Therefore, the present work seeks to show the level of commercial integration and transport infrastructure of Brazil in relation to the countries of South America
