A re-inserção de Jaguapitã-PR na rede urbana norte-paranaense: a produção industrial de mesas para bilhar e as interações espaciais

Objetiva-se com esse trabalho entender os caminhos pelos quais ocorreu a re-inserção da cidade de Jaguapitã-PR na rede urbana norte-paranaense a partir de 1970, mediante o desenvolvimento da produção industrial de mesas para bilhar. A gênese dessa produção industrial tem origem nas iniciativas de agentes sociais locais e a expansão do número de unidades fabris nas décadas de 1980 e 1990 está diretamente relacionada ao processo de contato próximo. Essa especialização industrial ampliou significativamente as interações espaciais de Jaguapitã-PR com outras redes urbanas no âmbito nacional, via obtenção de matéria-prima e montagem das linhas de locação de mesas. Estes processos permitiram a Jaguapitã-PR ocupar, até o ano de 2008, o posto de cidade com maior número de indústrias de mesa para bilhar do país.
