Temperature and rainfall variability of Cáceres, Pantanal Mato-Grossense - Brazil

We evaluated the variability of the minimum, average and maximum temperature, in annual, monthly and seasonal as well as the annual variability of precipitation in Cáceres/MT. We analyzed a dataset of 30 years. The average maximum temperature ranged from 32.3°C to 32.8°C in the 1980 and 2000 concurrently, with the highest average maximum of 26.5°C and lowest 24.9°C, respectively. The average monthly temperature ranged from 22.8°C in July and 27.6°C in October. The average temperature ranged from 17.3°C in winter to 33.8°C in spring. The annual rainfall showed a minimal of 972.9 mm (1985) and a maximum of 1624.1 mm (1998). Cáceres has a dry season (May to September) and rainy (October to April).
