The essential triad of integralism (God, Fatherland, Family) had a corollary well publicized by the movement: a sui generis conception of science, which encompassed experiences linked to Education, Aesthetics and Poetics. This tripod was intended to publicize the integralist belief that "the fertile ground of protagonism would only be fertilized through knowledge, beauty and word in all its senses!" The idea that the binomial science / education has always been one of the pillars of civilization was taken to the letter by the integralist movement. Such a premise warned that "the accumulation of knowledge was not enough in itself, and that education was needed that broke the boundaries of the intellect, becoming the concept of the binomial science / education something polysemic." This text intends to analyze the negative conceptions of science promoted by Integralism in its most important compendium, the Encyclopaedia of Integralism, published from 1957 to 1961.Downloads
