Abstract

There are still different approaches and methodologies in academic environment when discussing the use of oral sources and photographic sources. Since its beginning, oral history development and the production of oral sources and their research sources were questioned about its validity and legitimacy in face of the traditional concepts of a written document. The same way happened with photographic sources. Therefore, an exploratory study about the oral history development, its academic acceptance, the use of oral sources and the new method of photographic analysis were developed. The relationship between Information Science and the Professional of information with the contemporary oral history was described in this research too.
