Abstract


He approached the child labor from its origins to the present day, as well as the evolution of standards of protection for this type of work, demonstrating the importance of the same, with regard to the care of people still in development. They have been exposed some of the causes that make child exploitation and irregular work of teenagers still persist, as evidenced by data obtained through surveys such as the National Household Survey. We analyzed the Brazilian legislation that deals with it, especially with regard to the prohibitions on certain types of activity, the age for entry into the labor market, the rights of young workers, authorization and incentive for technical and vocational training of adolescents through learning. It pointed to the legitimate defense by smaller workers, demonstrating their importance to the eradication of child exploitation. It concluded the need for greater effectiveness and compliance with relevant laws, through the awareness of the whole society, as well as companies, employers and greater oversight by the government
