Abstract

The main point of our Mestrado work consisted in the understanding the school as a space of production of knowing, perceiving the child as a subject capable to produce knowledge, using us for in such a way of the song as mediation in this process. In such a way, we propose to break with the traditional idea, for times still persistent, that the universities produce knowledge and the schools share it and, in turn, the pupils consist only in supporting actors of the process of knowledge production. For in such a way, we use the song as a pedagogical tool in the production of the school historical knowledge during an experience realized in classroom in 2008, in the State School Antonio Moraes de Barros, in Londrina, with two groups of the eighth degree, using composed and recorded songs in the period of the Military Dictatorship.
