A Academic monitoring: a proposal in medical teaching

In this present article the authors, discuss a proposal in medical teaching - the academic monitoring - established with the objectives the technical - practical assistance, facilitating students integration, favoring the acquisition of critical thinking and, moreover, searching for an optimization of the teaching-learning complex. The results obtained through questionnaires arc presented and discussed, and they express the different ideas and criticism demonstrated by those monitored, which allow for a detailed analysis of the importance of the activities in monitoring during the process of medical education.
