The aim of the study was to analyze the contents of psychology of learning textbooks commonly (usually) adopted by second grade teacher at the Núcleo Educacional de Londrina (Londrina Regional Education Board). The accomplishment of the analysis was based upon in a Psychology Textbook analysis Card, which included the following items: text sequence, intelligibility, technical explanations, theory and practice relations, adoption of models and study direction conforming to the different mental precognitive levels according to BLOOM and COL (1986).
