Digestão microbiana de matéria orgânica, produção de biogás e bio fertilizante

Among the alternative energy sources available in Brazil, one of the most promising is biomass energy, due mainly to its renewable characteristics. Methane gas production, one of the possible transformations of biomass, is particularly interesting because the gas is obtained from animal and plant residues, otherwise of little further use, or eventually even held to be contaminants and pollutants. Besides the energy production, the installed and utilized en rural areas, yields another product, bio fertilizer, of excellent and profitable employment in agriculture. The digestion process, correct use of the organic raw material and characteristics of biogas and biofertilizer are described.
