Childcare is the set of techniques used to ensure the perfect physical, mental and moral development of the child from the gestational period to the end of early childhood. According to a data survey carried out with the Basic Health Unit (UBS) of Jardim Tokyo, it was observed that the childcare service has not been periodically attended by children in the coverage area of the aforementioned UBS. In view of this, we investigated whether there was misinformation or negligence on the part of the population and/or employees of this UBS. From the results obtained from the investigation, we conclude that the service needs to be reorganized in this unit and that this reorganization involves a readjustment of the physical space, better dissemination of services provided to the community, technical training of health agents, development of a "Childcare Program" where it seeks a better clarification of the service, as it is a community of low socioeconomic status.Downloads
