What teens know the public basic education about HPV

In a study conducted in 17 schools of public schools in the city of Picos, state of Piauí, with students from third year of high school, focusing on the issue of HPV - once sexually transmitted diseases are prevalent in adolescence and facilitates the contamination by this STD - found that most respondents do not hold enough knowledge about this disease and that the schools in question are not meeting the expectations that are granted by the company, developing projects and training activities, information on preventive health, sexuality and sexual orientation. The study also exposes the neglect of public health in the municipality of peaks in the state of Piauí, and the emergence of organization and mobilization for interventions within the public agencies and public schools.
