Hemophilia: precautions and complications occurring in a dental office

This work was done with bibliographical revision, and with the help of professionals of the health area, physicians and dentists, about hemophilia, a blood disease whose risks are feared by dentists. In this study, the concept, etiology, transmission and treatment of hemophilia were described. The risks and problems which may occur with a hemophiliac during dental treatment, Moody or not, and the precautions and recourses which may be used were also studied.
