Abstract

The article examines digital zines as a platform for promoting Brazilian women photographers, highlighting their role in showcasing artists’ lives and work. Through bibliographical and documentary research and a semi-structured interview, it explores the zine’s expressive potential and Jacqueline Hoofendy’s artistic trajectory. Her life history and photography series are featured in a digital zine as the research outcome. This format proves to be an effective medium for disseminating artistic production, especially in the digital space, where distribution possibilities are virtually limitless.
