The purpose of this paper is to present the changes introduced by Law n. 13,105 (Brazilian Code of Civil Procedure), of March 16th, 2015, specifically in regards to the dissolution of companies. Originally, the causes of dissolution can be found in the Brazilian Civil Code of 2002. In spite of that, this study analyzes the procedural aspects of a company's dissolution previously established by the Civil Procedure Code of 1973 and Civil Procedure Code of 1939 - both repealed by the 2015 procedural code. In summary, this new law has various requirements, which has to be observed, even in the case of a company's partial dissolution. This research utilized the deductive method and literature review, with the use of legislation, books, case studies and other research papers.
